Brave the Elements

Brave the Elements

As we trudge, headfirst, into the colder months, I find it important to have the right pieces for even the worst situations. I finally got all of my coats out of storage and in perfect time as it seems everyday has brought us rain and clouds. I stepped out to run some errands and I thought it the perfect occasion to showcase this rubberized parka from Levi's.
I've had this coat for quite some time and it always comes in handy as an outer layering piece. The material is designed for water to roll right off and it didn't kill my wallet either. I love a good umbrella but sometimes it becomes just one more thing to carry. If I'm on the run, I find it quite convenient to just pop the hood on this jacket and head out into the rain. On this particular day it wasn't exactly freezing, so I was able to get away with this ribbed turtleneck and I threw on my camo trucker to dress the whole thing down. There is no reason to look bummy, even at the grocery store. Here are the details:
Hat: Self Understood https://selfunderstoodclothing.com/collections/headwear/products/woodland-camo-trucker
Turtleneck: H&M. https://www2.hm.com/en_us/productpage.1089881002.html
Parka: https://amzn.to/49bxDWK
Denim: Gap straight fit
Boots: Blundstone
I hope this recommendation helps. This jacket is a versatile piece to help you keep dry out there. Stay Thirsty my Friends. Kirk Out.
